When will my order ship?
After a 3-5 business day processing time, your order will ship within 3-5 days. When product is available immediately, orders will ship sooner. We do try to get your orders out as rapidly as possible.
What type of wax do you use?
We use a premium coconut soy blend wax.
Do your wicks contain lead?
No. Our wicks do not contain lead. Lead wicks are illegal.
How do I avoid smoke when extinguishing?
We suggest that you use a wick dipper to extinguish your candle instead of blowing it out or using the lid to extinguish the flame.
Why does my wick have a mushroom?
Although we try to avoid this, it's actually pretty common to have a mushroom on the wick when it hasn't been trimmed. Carbon buildup causes the mushrooming We suggest that you trim your wick after every burn, but not before the first burn.
What do I do if my candle is tunneling?
If you notice that your candle is tunneling down the middle, make sure that you leave the candle burning at least 2 hours but no more than 4 hours at a time to allow the wax to form a proper melt pool. When you extinguish a candle very early on, it doesn't allow the wax time to create a proper melt pool which ultimately prevents tunneling.
Should I trim the wick?
When you open your candle, it should be ready to burn. You do not need to trim the wick for this first burn. After the first burn and if you notice that the wick has mushrooming, it is recommended that you trim the wick to 1/4" between the rest of the burns.
How should I care for my candle?
Always store your candle in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight or UV lighting. Also, never burn your candle close to windows, drafts or flammable objects. Wax will start to soften and melt around 80 degrees F.
